I will start this article with admitting that I am somewhat weary of writing on this topic. How dare someone write about the topic of promiscuity? To make this worse, how dare a woman perform such action? I am a woman who loves sex. I want sex and need it, not unlike other people. Does this sound slutty? Of course, it does, but I think that admitting this issue proves human.

I am a woman who has had one night stands. I am a woman who has given out fake phone numbers to men because the sex was not good enough in wanting to see them ever again. I am also guilty of realizing while on a date, if I do not foresee long-term potential, I will initiate sex. Why would I do this? The answer is obvious; I know I will never see the man again, and at least I will obtain sex out of the boring night.

Most people reading this article are probably sitting with gaped mouths for how can a woman disclose such intimate things? I am sure if the author of this article were male, I do not think that people would be shocked. Women deserve equal favor. I will not pretend to be a "nice girl" for why should I? I am not a nice girl. I am a woman who will stare at men, and ponder how talented he is in bed. Secondly, I consider his intellectual capabilities.

Let us face it, life is about sex. A man can stimulate my mind until pigs fly, but if his tactics in the bedroom are less than satisfactory; the task proves unworthy to attempt. I want a man who is physically attractive, and a man who is willing to indulge in my fantasies, as well as his.

Women do not feel free in our society to disclose their sexual fantasies, or to demonstrate sexual prowess. Women are expected to pretend to be "good girls" while forcing men to chase them. This is such a crock, and I can state from a woman's perspective that eighty percent of women are not "good girls", they merely pretend to be as such. Women are merely playing into the societal role, and falling prey to public standards that prove weakness. Why pretend to be something you are not? It proves fun and liberating to disclose sexual desires and acting upon them.

Men are accepted as promiscuous creatures. Women on the other hand, are frowned upon for demonstrating the exact behavior. The majority of men are intimidated by sexually-charged women because they do not experience power when face with women with these qualities. There is a minority of men who accept women of such caliber, and they respect women who are experienced while not pretending to be virtuous puritans.

I wish more women would embrace their sexuality, and acknowledge their needs within the bedroom. Women should throw out the games, and accept the fact that they also are entitled to sexual desire and prowess. Sexual entitlement is not designated specifically for men. This topic is about equality of the genders, and I accept my passion, and equality within the bedroom, car or wherever the sexual desire hits me.
